The pizza or pasta to take away costs only 5 euros and is really good! The chilli and garlic oil is also delicious The price-performance ratio is outstanding ? It was a pleasure !

Italian restaurant. We always order takeaway meals here. Each pasta dish and each pizza costs only € 5. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The pizzas are also really good. No comparison to the pizzas from the delivery service. The waiters are always very friendly and helpful.

Le Candele has become our regular pub over the last few years and can keep us - especially in comparison to others - even during Corona times. The food is certainly not great, but has an excellent price / performance ratio, especially when you pick up the noodle and pasta dishes are almost incredibly cheap. The waitresses have become friendlier and friendlier over the last few years, it's very quick and it's always reliable. You should leave your money here even during Corona.

Food has always been top. Any requests were taken care of at no extra cost. The staff is really very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. Good value for money. Sanitary facilities on my part still unused.

I really enjoy eating pizza or pasta from here to take away. Everything only costs 5 €! Incredible! And food is ready in 10 minutes. Mega! Tastes good? Simply great. Look at the pizza dough. Here cooks properly.

A great Italian restaurant in Würzburg. We were sightseeing in Würzburg and wanted something warm in the afternoon. We had pizza and pasta and salad. Everything tasted very good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Price performance top. When we're around again, we'll be happy to take a look. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. After every customer who left, the place (table & seat was cleaned). Thumbs up.

Bad. The place from the outside seemed nice to me, so much so that I stopped for a pizza, unfortunately bad service, the fault of a waiter who seemed to want to kick out customers, although it was certainly not closing time. I understand the difficulty of finding competent staff, but this was just too much trouble.

Nice staff and good service. The pizzas tasted very good, but could be a little bigger for the price. Otherwise a recommendable restaurant, would go again.

Outstanding restaurant, very welcoming. The service was very good, the waiters very patient, and the food great. I ordered a pizza and it was very good, one of the best I've eaten since I've been here in Germany, and almost as good as an Italian one. I am very happy with this restaurant and will certainly return to eat there.

Very nice Italian restaurant with a large selection of dishes. It is located in the middle of the pedestrian zone. We were there especially for the gluten-free pizza and are absolutely thrilled. But the "normal" pizza is also sensational. We'll definitely be back soon.

An excellent Italian where everything is right: exceptionally nice service and advice, very good food and an appealing ambience, at absolutely acceptable prices. Attentive inquiries were also made after the food had been brought. Would become our favorite Italian restaurant if it was near our hometown. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Good high quality Italian food, we ate a mixed fish platter from the grill and a rump steak with porcini mushrooms. A pleasure. The service was very friendly and courteous and we were really completely satisfied, we'll be back.

It was finished in 20 minutes, in the end I had to wait 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't really warm anymore because the pasta wasn't ready. First order and now the last.

I've heard from many in advance that the food there isn't exceptional. Still, we wanted to try it out ourselves. Well what can you say ... My pasta was more than al dente and quite hard. The Arrabiata sauce is anything but spicy and is more like a tomato sauce. Nevertheless, the fresh garlic in the sauce is to be commended. It was on the menu, but PLEASE, leave the cream out of the pesto. This has nothing to do with an Italian pesto. The sauce was also very light green as a result (so it wasn't just a "shot", it was really a lot). This lost the taste. Conclusion: 20 € and pasta, which we could have done better at home. We would not come back based on this performance.

Very quiet restaurant with Italian specialties. These are always a culinary delight. Staff always friendly and very accommodating.

best vegetarian pizza in the town

Hello we were in this restaurant on 12.07.2015 we had a phenomenal welcome, which we promised ourselves the next time we return to Würzburg it will be a must to come back, of the kindness of the staff and above all the very good Italian food, and here is the 13. August 2020 we are back in würzburg and the promise to visit the restaurant Le Candele has occurred, here we are again very kind staff exceptional Italian food (mixed appetizer with delicate virgin oil, tasty pizza bread, perfect rib me and my friends again we promised to return to würzburg to visit the Candles congratulations to all the staff and owners continue so I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant you feel you are in Italy thanks Arifi Silvio greets you

Good food and great value especially for take away. Service is the worst though (-3).

Very good food, not cheap but worth it. Great pasta and meat dishes, good red wine by the glass. Mixed desert for two was tasty. Vinello tomato was excellent.

The location is great. The food is okay. We enjoyed our night out. However, it was so busy and the line was so long that our visit became kind of stressful - but I guess that’s a good sign. :-)

Location: near the Residenz. Walking distance from the city centre. Advised to reserve a table but it's possible to just drop by and ask for one. Service: is really good. Nice and warm. We got a complimentary dessert dish from this really nice waiter. Food : the pasta was fine. The rigatoni could've been better. Pizza was good Recommended for a visit

Great Italian food with reasonable prices and kind service.

This restaurant offers good Italian food at surprisingly reasonable rates. The pizzas and salads are fresh, light, and refreshing. Currently, the place is right next door to the Christmas market, hence jam packed. Although we had a reservation, there was a 15 minute wait until they could actually assign us a table - it was packed like a tin of sardines and extremely loud (I couldn't hear what I was saying!). This is a place I would like to revisit in the summer without having to contend with such a crowd. The food is good, the ambience nice, and that alone would be worth it.

The room is quite big and the owner/waiters are really nice. There is a terrace downstairs and also upstairs that is quite enjoyable. Most of the food appears to be home made. I love their tomato soup, and over all their vegetarian pizza. Pro tip: If you order pizza to go, the price is ridiculously low.
